He was so excited to have a special day all to himself.  He kept saying over and over all day, "I can't believe I am 5, it's my birthday!"

Logan and I on a "mommy logan date" yesterday at target, eating hot dogs and sipping blue  icee's 

We ate pizza, blew out candles, opened presents and played until a bath came and finally fast asleep (after an hour of pleading him to go to bed and stop playing and then crying because he realized he was going to be "left" at school.  This morning is a whole other story!)  But finally, as he drifted to sleep he said he "sure had a great day".  And went off to sweet dreams waiting for his big surprise THE PETTING SAFARI ON SATURDAY!!!!!

Logan Horse is 5

 Today our Logan Horse is 5!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG BOY!

I can't believe it's been 5 years since you looked up at me lying on my chest opening your eyes to the earthly light for the first time and saying , "hi mommy i'm Logan".  We thought you'd be named Griffin, but you told us different, as if you already knew who you were.

I am so glad you are here and that you have changed my life, my being forever!!!!!

My LIttle Kindergardener is a First Grade Cool Kid

HE DID IT!

Jack made his way through the first week of the first grade!  He's gotten back into the "routine" of things and is already givin em' hell over at Karns Elementary!  Running through the halls and reading better than a third grader :-)

TATUM WENT TO HER FIRST FULL DAY OF PRESCHOOL TODAY!  SHE WAS A SUPER DURPER COOL KID ATE HER LUNCH, MADE NEW FRIENDS, PAINTED, PLAYED ON THE PLAYGROUND AND CAME OUT SMILIN'!
