Have you ever opened a blank journal and felt like it was whispering something to you?
I have. Every time I see one that catches my eye.
I LOVE blank journals.
I think it started in high school when I started writing poetry. I found a little blank book that was called, "The nothing book, what to make it something?"
It was blank and I thought what a cool thing....a book that was bound like a book but was void of words and I put what EVER I wanted inside it! I could write anything! That was a big deal to me at age 14.
Through the years I have come to really trust my blank pages and know that what I find in the pages are for me. I rarely share anything I put in them.
I often put ideas and contemplations.
I am someone full of questions, constantly searching....I am forever sniffing out my impressions and visions and keep these books to bind them.
I LOVE the feeling of secrecy.
I LOVE to power I feel when I say something to my page that I may never in a lifetime say to someone out in the real world.
Call it therapy.
Call is a journal. A diary if you must.
But I see it more as a companion.
Someone that is always objective and willing to carry anything I want it to hold.
I will continue to explore and pour out money just to have these guys on hand when the time comes or an idea hits or I am just in the mood to hold it in my hand and say...........................
