oh today was a mess...runny noses, late to school, working out with a sore knee, lots of crying and hitting....Logan has now turned 4 and thinks he's "spiderman". I keep telling him spidy is nice not mean!

Jack has been in school for the past week...he's doing great and will continue to move on and the two other kiddo's are getting up as early as Jack!

I have been working hard on some "stuff" and taking my photography course. I am challenging myself in some new ways and hope some new things come out of it. We will see. I am going to explore some new avenues that will help make what I see in my head, appear in the world on something such as canvas, wood, photo, what ever it takes.

As far as Logan's bday...we had a blast....we went to the bookstore for a morning cup of coffee and milk, matt took off for the day, and then we picked jack up from school and found our way over to Chucky Cheese...they had a BLAST!!!! we opened gifts and matt made the cake! and Logan has said every day this week that his bday is today and keep looking for more presents. It's cute and annoying at the same time....I don't have any more presents! He's such a doll....they all are........
the pics say it all hopefully and then some....

Everyone's asking...so here is the big guy getting out of the car on his first day back to school. thanks for all the support! it really means a lot to know that he has such a strong wall built around him. he is doing great and he will continue to do so...especially with all the influences of family and friends! thanks and we will keep you posted on this school year. right now we are working on getting to school on time....sadly, it's mom, not jack! he's getting up like a champ.......i mean really, how cute can one kid be....I love you jack...we are so proud!!!!!!

ALSO....on another note..there is always so much going on at the Anderson family's house.....LOGAN is turning four!!! He is so excited and can't wait to bake his own cake with "dad" matt is taking the day off, we are going to the library, baking cakes and getting ready for a little party at the end of the day lot's of cool games by his request!
Logan is such fun we will have a blast...today he told me that baby goats are "kids" and I said, "yes" like you, and he said, "yea, but I am Human." hummmmmmm...were in the hell do kids get their info? smart cookies......they are.......

I might as well say what Tatum is up to....she is working on not "peeing" in her panties....she is at a 75% success rate as of right now, only one accident today.......bye bye diapers!!!!

P.S.

I am so excited about school I forgo the other BIG news!

Jack lost his first tooth last night! The tooth fairy came and the other one is already coming in! This is the best shot I could get. It took us days to get him to pull it out, but he did with a little help from a quick hand from mom:)

Summer seems like a blur it went by so fast!

Tomorrow my Jacker's starts the big K! We are so excited for him. Everyone cross their fingers he doesn't give them too much hell this year. But then again, my little devil inside says, "give hell baby!" :) show them what you've got!

Today was good.
Moving in to the studio with cyn. Can't wait to get some time to work hour after hour. The thunder today made me jump it woke up my being, my senses. It's been so hot, I've gone in hibernation. Shut down to stay cool.

The heat is getting old, this summer of 2010, and I am SO ready of autum. Some leaves are falling around my house. Though it is a little early, I can't help but daydream of the brisk days in Autum to come.

The sound of backyardigans are blasting in the back ground as Matt and I have a glass of ONE HOPE, and try to have an adult conversation.

ONE HOPE is a VERY GOOD red wine that is creating Autism Awareness by selling it and giving 1/2 the proceeds to autism research. EVERYONE is welcome to go out and buy it.....for Jackj!:) and all the other lovely's out there that fit in the "zebra" category. GO ZEBRA'S!!

Good lord I feel scattered today! This has been a week been the week of getting back in the 'groove"

I can't keep my thoughts in one place long enough to know what they are, much less get anything done. I think my eyes have changed cause I can't see this screen! Going to the eye doc. thank goodness!!!

I thought if I wrote down my "scatteredness" maybe I could put some pieces in place. It's like a puzzle you see. My life, yours. Once we are done...that day we "finish" we will see the big picture. I am on a "death" kick. Nothing morbid...to me it's intriging and worth the investigation. How amazing to think that one day......this....all this "stuff" the worries, the laugther, the tears, frustrations, beauty, fun, saddness.....movies, clothes, food, kids, grass, itching, colds, cooking, dreaming, creating, all of it, for I could go on and on........it WILL be gone.....I WILL BE GONE.

I guess I am trying to find perspective...please forgive it this topic is distrubing to you.....but to me, it is beautiful...it is the "journey of life" it is.....the life we live....we live knowing we are going to die. I read a quote this morning by Ben Franklin (the man!)
"Work as if you were to live a hundred years. Pray as if you were to die tomorrow." It has stuck with me all morning. I guess I have always been interested in the topic and growing "up" more and more really gives reason to think it through. Hopefully by the time I finish "growing' I will have a solid ground to stand on. A solid peace.

So much for writing down what I am scattered about. I went off on the death thing and now I have three hungry kids. More later.....of course:)

The Anderson summer vacation is officially over. The Luau has come and gone and the Chicago Tipton's are back home. We had a great time with family and friends and it was a lot of fun sitting by the fire pit sharing ghost stories. I am positive our neighbors are very happy to see it end, and the hough the lack of sleep is starting to get to me---today I have eaten myself to death just to keep my eyes open!

So thanks to all that came and enjoyed John and I starting the fast track to 40! Love you bro...wouldn't want to do it with any other guy!

Jack starts school in two weeks and Logan's turning 4 at the end of the month....Tatum 3yrs at the end Sep. .there is always another party right around the corner at this house!

Cheers
P.s. More pixs to come, thanks to Mori! I was too busy to shoot anything much this is what I got.

We are back! We are alive! We are ready for the Chicago Hassles and the summer Luau! Some unpacking to do and some memories to remember. The kids were great on the way in, really 'rock star" quality, and the ride was some how shorter in than out. It was really easy, as if they knew what to do....we drove for 10 hours yesterday without any fuss.........amazing!
We had a GREAT time in TX and we miss them all already! Thanks for everything Toads! Tonight we will sleep well in our own beds...they have been going strong ALL day!

The Anderson's are starting to pack it up, clean out the "V" (matt has named it) and we will be heading back to good ole' TN tomorrow morning....God help us. It has been an adventure to say the least for the kids. Digging in the dirt with Buster the dog, going to the Fort Worth Zoo, swimming at Jewjell's. All kinds of things. I am thinking about super gluing them all to their seats on the way home but I can't figure out how to relieve them to P...................I think that would be much more of a hassel than just telling them to sit 7 times in one minute. Maybe. I hope!

We've had a lot of fun, but certainly ready to get back to routines and own beds:)

TEXAS is big...the sky feels like it's falling on my head.....it's really hot, but carries a sense of wonder....very Sam Shepard.
