today is another hot day

not much to do with the three ducks but stay inside and try to keep them

silence in the early morning is nice. right now all i hear is the air conditioning humming along with the birds.

 

 

the trampoline is the newest hottest craze.  Matt comes home from work eats a couple of marsh mellows for quick energy and then takes them all out there and throws them around like crazy!  it's fun to watch, differently hard to get on camera (gotta work on that!) and the kids think he's the best thing since chuckey cheese....

Weekend Bliss

Summer time-

Soccer balls and swings-

Water hose and ice cream-

Bare feet,  sand piles and bugs hiding from the off lathered on skin like lotion-

Nothing more to do than the moment-

Nothing more to do than get hot and  get cool-

Over and over again-

Homegrown corn, hamburgers, watermelon, and sweet tea-

Late nights with the sun refusing to go to sleep like the little ones that played all day under it-

Summer time-

Giving memories away on the wings of each firefly-

Day after day

Time after time

Radom Thoughts on Thrusday

This kind of heat makes me think of one of my all time favorite movies-
Steele Magnolia's - such a little gem.

 I cry every time and I always feel some kind of strange pride in being "southern".

Life is hot here in the South, but damn people smile and say, "Thank you!"

I am busy in the studio working on some projects and learning more about my camera, mr. GETTY MAN!
 I have met a really nice guy, Erik, who has been so gracious in helping me learn more about my camera and about photography in general.
 It's nice to be able to talk to someone who loves photography as much as I do! I have so little time, but I am learning something every day.  Thanks Erik!

OUR 4 YEAR OLD IS OBSESSED WITH THE ZOO!


Saturday we packed up and went to the zoo for the second time in a week!  We bought a membership so all the kids know we can GO anytime!  Lord help  us!

This weekend was full of lawn work, grilling, and being the Anderson Crazies.....three days go quick when your having fun.....Happy Memorial Day to all...and to all that serve this country I sincerely say "Thank You".

It was hot, but we had fun and got some cool pictures.
