Eventful Happenings

We have been counting down all week!  Tatum even woke up this morning remembering it was your bday! She has been out in the garden all week with cindy ---she is such a Massey! :-)
Hope you have a GREAT day and we will be talking to tonight!

So here we are, almost summer!

The Anderson boy's are dragging themselves out of bed and to school -- Logan being the absolute worst!

Tears and cries for "mama" to come and help him.

Or the very latest is, "sign me out early, after my test", with sad eyes starring a hole through my heart.  This morning was SO hard for me to push him into the doors and drive away.

Jack on the other hand is doing just what he needs to do, push on through.

Tatum is hanging in there too, sleeping in and hanging out with me until the hours pass and we start our taxi service.  We have plenty to do, clean, shop, workout.  The latter being the last!  Oh, one day I will get it all together ! LOL

I have finally reconciled with the FACT that there are really only 24 hours in a day and I am only human. I had my twenty's and thirty's fit as a work-out queen, now I am doing what I can when I can  My main goal, is to be healthy and active.  Which if chasing these kids isn't "active" I don't know what is!
AND...I am starting to BOX!!! My awesome husband bought me the whole kit and caboodle for mother's day! Bag, gloves, tape!  I already have a jump rope.  I am going to make our garage my boxing ring!!! As soon as we clean it out, for the 6th time this year (seriously)!  We had a yard sale last week and it's trashed again!
UGGHHHHH!

Since Matt has been "laid off" our days are more full.  We don't get it.  It seems as if we have more work than before when he was "going" to work.  Our house could differently use some TLC.  Matt and I are so busy just maintaining kids, and the kids around us, that we rarely get a Saturday to "home improve".  Maybe the Saturday we can clean the garage and get the upstairs picked up.  And that sounds ambitious.

As for other events at the Anderson house?!
We have a new addition.

meet

she was handed over to us by someone who found her and we found her owners and they wanted to know if we wanted to keep her?  it's a long drawn out story, but we all, including Boone dog have gotten attached.  She is SO sweet and kind.  She is trained, and really a killer dog, except she likes to escape out of the backyard.  We have gone after her more than 10 times, finding her every time, by phone calls or her running back after 6 hours or us getting in the car and roaming around.  She's is a ninja, we never know she is gone until we start noticing she isn't around.
So, we have decided to keep her knowing that one day she may not come back.  Though I am certain she likes here, she just has that "i gotta go" in her.
Every time I look at her I feel like we are in TX with the Toads.  It is heartwarming and comforting.  We miss them much. We were going to name her Beatrice, after Barney, Toad, but it really didn't fit her.  I called her Lady Lay until we discovered her real name which is MOLLY.  Now we call her, Lady Lay Molly June Dog.  Lady or Molly for short.

She is lovably crazy.

I know what your thinking, the Anderson's needed another dog.
But sometimes I think things happen for a reason.
This is probably one of those times.
