Just some pictures to boot.

New Project

This is something I recently started working on. I am weaving yarn through it. It's fun. I bought the piece. Wish I could say I made it, looking into how though. How fun that would be. Right now I just want to see it hanging on my wall.

Today is a sick day again.....for the past four days everyone of our kiddos have had a (thank god) quick stomach flu.....FUN for us. I haven't sleep for more than three hours and I smell. Nice huh?
The beauty of being a mom. You can't have cute, adorable kids running around and not smell sometimes!:)

Other than that I am occuppied once again with what am I going to do today. What "something" am I going to produce? I have so many things I want to explore and so little time. I steal moments here and there which eventually adds up.

I finally got around to snapping some pics of my space. I stole the dinning room in our house. I like being at home -- I can work on something for an hour or just two minutes. It gives me the chance to work mindful (with a lot of multi-tasking). One day I will have hours alone just me,enya and my stuff...but for now I'll share.

All I have to say is that today I have a lot of spare time b/c it snowed and I am trying to keep my self occupied with activity. I usually go out and run arrands and such, work out or see my parents but I have been locked down on Richland Colony Rd. for three days now and I feel the need to continue to post.

I thought it was 9pm and Matt just informed me it was only 6:45pm. I'm in the twilight zone. Wish I was in Twilight.:)

Anyhow, here is the man that inspires me to be me. He is trully the best person I know in all accounts and has a heart of gold. He is my soul-mate. If I never accomplish anything else in my life I would be complete. He makes me happy like a zen buddist monk. He is the breath I breathe. So many times I have thanked my lucky stars for is unconditional love and humor. He is the music of my life. Without it I would be lost.

I slid right through the holiday's of 09' without a trace. I was too distracted mentally and somewhat physically to post. I have times where I am full of words and other times I am full of images. I work in my studio almost everyday now and find that if I just start something, without planning or thinking about it too much I come up with something. Right now that is the point, to do something.

I have a need, a deep need to just C. R. E. A .T. E . Its trite these days to me to say the word, CREATE. Though this is the need. To create something from start to finish. To see it in my hands, on the easel, in the sketch book, on the tile or wall. Anywhere. Something. If I produce something I am being alive. I am in existence.

It's very satisfying and a tad neurotic. I like that. It's what I need most right now. To be neurotic.

Here is the biggest and best SURPRISE I ever had. Tatum Ackridge Jewell. She is my little princess and my lucky charm. She followed us from Los Angeles. Two weeks back home and Matt and I are pregnent. We went nine months not knowing who she was going to be, boy or girl, and on September 24, 2007 we all became the party of 5! She is the apple of my eye. The version of me that I always hoped I could be. She is a dancer at heart and secretly strives to do everything her brothers Logan and Jack do. She is a tomboy right now, and I hope she stays that way. Maybe a little doll and ribbon here and there, but she's tough! She's going to be that girl that"hangs with the guys" and hit the cover of Hollywood Reporter, all in one single swoop. Like I said, Tatum is my lucky charm. My world turned into my childhood fairytale when she arrived. Pink and everything in between. She has turned me into the woman I am "becoming" for the rest of my life.
Hollywood watch out. She is a little Rita Hayworth with a dash of Marilyn Monroe.
