Floating Around

It has been a day.

I feel lost in thoughts---some sad, some wondering, some excited.
I have been up and down like a pogo stick.
Crying, laughing, trying to keep my cool.

Sun hot
Sky turning gray
Wondering if the rain will fall

I have been lost in thought today
Thinking of dear Cecilia, the sand, the future

I am wondering today
What will come
What type of weather
Human life is so fragile
Sand is full of stars

I feel excited today
The sea is pushing itself closer to my skin
The smiles around me are full and bright

I feel full of all kinds of emotions at this time
Before I fall asleep

Wonder what my dreams will bring
